The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall visited Point Reyes Station, north of San Francisco, on the sixth day of their US visit, where Charles sampled a pint of the local ale. Wine was the drink of choice when the royals toured the town's organic farmers' market in the afternoon. Prince Charles, a champion of organic farming himself, talked to vendors at the West Marin Farmers' Market. Prince Charles had questions about organic flowers. The stallholder later presented Camilla with a small bouquet. The Prince could not hide his amusement when a goat took a bite out of the flowers. Camilla tried a range of local produce, including apples, cheese, salmon fishcake and a stew of butternut squash, pumpkin, beans and cream. Charles sniffed a clove of garlic on one of the stalls. The market's organisers are working to make sure all produce grown in the area is organic. The royals chatted to some of the several hundred onlookers who turned out for their visit. A small group of anti-war demonstrators had mixed messages for the Prince of Wales. The Prince of Wales talked to Warren Weber during a tour of his organic farm in nearby Bolinas.
