In Pictures: Beating graffiti | People who spot graffiti or fly-tipping in Lewisham can take a picture of it using their phone then send it to the council. All users need to do is download some software from the Love Lewisham website onto their mobile phone. Once the problem is reported, cleaning teams are alerted to the problem and start dealing with it. Once the graffiti is soaked in a solution a power hose is used to blast it off the wall. The staff then take a picture of the area which has been cleaned-up and send it back to the website. You can see if the problem has been solved on the website where an 'after' picture will be posted.
