An injured foot did not stop the Kaiser Chiefs' lead singer Ricky Wilson bounding around the stage. His injury was the result of an exuberant performance in Portugal, during which he tore ligaments in his ankle.

Joss Stone sang hits from her best-selling album Mind, Body, Soul. The teenager had already performed for massive crowds at Scotland's T in the Park and Live 8 in 2005.
