What do YOU think of the Budget?
What do you think of the chancellor's Budget? Have your say below:

Brown has played his usual trick of re-announcing old measures, and double- and triple-counting expenditure increases. In the cold light of day we will realise we have been misled yet again.
Don Erskine

Seems pretty fair as Budgets go. If you don't smoke then things even out farly well. Good to see the NHS and small business getting a boost. Should have done more to the parasites who run the banking system though.
Keith Fletcher, Wiltshire

The subject of transport seems to have been brushed under the carpet. It's all very well fuel duty 'only' going up by the rate of inflation, but the damage has been done in the past two decades. There is still no improvement in public transport which is still unreliable and more expensive than even ONE person taking their car.
Simon Clark, England

If you want good services, you have to pay for them. So stop complaining. Yes, people will have to pay a little more so that billions can go into improving the NHS and the schools.
Riad Mannan, London

Ring-fenced tobacco taxes for the NHS - does that mean they'll get less money when more people smuggle because the taxes are so high?
John Stanton, UK

The chancellor has done nothing for rural England. British farmers are having a terrible time and with the extra increase in fuel together with with the world increase in world fuel prices, villages are becoming the domain of the rich. We have very little public transport and the bus service is expensive compared with urban services.
Antony Bradley-Hole
