On Tuesday 24 September 2002, the UK government revealed a dossier setting out the case against Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

That document laid out detailed allegations of his development of weapons of mass destruction.

Downing Street released the dossier to the world at 0800 BST. It claimed Iraq had a continuing programme of chemical and biological weapons and had tried to acquire nuclear material from Africa.

The dossier made a number of key points on his missile programmes and the funding of these projects. The British government also released intelligence photographs of locations of major concern. See the pictures below:
