Kwaku kicks off for Africa Live!
Kweku interviews the people of Lagos
The BBC were live from the street outside a fast food restaurant
Africa Live! is touring the west of the continent with Kwaku Sakyi Addo, and his journey began in Lagos on Monday.

The first of the day's two transmissions took place from Ray Power, one of Nigeria's main radio stations.

There, Africa Live! heard the views of Abiolla Iberuagba, one of the country's top broadcasters and presenter of a family chat show.

Ms Iberuagba joined in the first of Africa Live!'s great debates, on relationships, contending that women have their own economic power and need not be subservient to men.

Kwaku and his team then had an hour to negotiate the notorious Lagos traffic to reach their next intended destination for the second edition of the programme at 1930GMT.

But the congestion was so great, they were forced to stop on the street at a fast food restaurant for their next transmission!

The street, in the Agege district of the city, was the perfect place to hear the views of the Lagos residents on Africa Live's second hot topic - street crime.

From Lagos, Kwaku now travels to Ibandan university, where they will hear from students about the cults and secret that have sprung up there.

Dont' forget, you can be a part of Kwaku's journey - call Africa Live! on 44 207 836 0215 or text/SMS 44 7736 100 100 (begin your message with AL).
