Haiti earthquake: Bogus 'charity' uncovered by BBC

A BBC investigation has uncovered evidence that criminal gangs have been cashing in on the Haiti earthquake by seeking funds for bogus charities.

The fraudsters have sent out millions of spam e-mails claiming either to represent genuine charities or to be from charities which simply do not exist.

In both cases they ask for donations - usually by untraceable bank transfers - to pay for relief supplies.

Razia Iqbal has tracked down one gang, based in Spain - and this is the moment she and her team confronted one of its members.
