In the coastal town of Pariaman, the hardest hit by the earthquake in Indonesia, mourners and survivors alike clawed through the rubble.
Footage from TV One network showed the town, located about 40 miles northwest of Padang, completely devastated by Wednesday's quake, with houses reduced to rubble and slabs of concrete littering the ground.
Wednesday's 7.6-magnitude earthquake started at sea and quickly rippled through Sumatra, the westernmost island in the Indonesian archipelago.
