India's sugar in short supply

India, the world's largest consumer of sugar, is being forced to import large quantities because of a massive shortage in production due to poor monsoon rains.

World sugar prices have reached their highest level in three decades in part because of India's crisis.

The BBC's Sanjoy Majumder has been to the sugar fields to see the extent of the problem.
