Polls close in Iranian election

The polls have closed in Iran's hotly-contested presidential election. Voting was extended until 10pm to allow more people to cast their ballots.

Both the incumbent president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and challenger Mir Hossein Mousavi have claimed to be in the lead.
