France takes tough G20 stance

The French President, Nicholas Sarkozy, and the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, have held a news conference in London on their position ahead of the G20 summit of the world's richest nations.

Mr Sarkozy had implied that he would walk out of the summit if the G20 couldn't agree on tough regulation but stressed the need for everybody to agree on making a concrete plan of action.
