The US Treasury Secretary has played down talk of any disagreement at the meeting of finance ministers from the G20 group of rich and emerging nations.
Tim Geithner told the BBC's economics editor Stephanie Flanders there was "a very broad consensus globally" to act aggressively to restore growth.
