China's PM reveals economic plan

China is ready to introduce new economic stimulus measures "at any time", Premier Wen Jiabao has said.

He told a news conference in Beijing that such measures would be deployed, if needed to hit China's eight per cent growth target.

The economy has run in to trouble as demand for its exports has collapsed.
