The trio of Canadian adventurers claim to have set a new record for fastest trek across Antarctica to the South Pole, completing the 700-mile (1,130-kilometre) journey from Hercules Inlet on Antarctica's Ronne Ice Shelf to the South Pole in 33 days, 23 hours and 30 minutes.
