Possible end to Thai stand-off

There are unconfirmed reports that a deal has been done with the People's Alliance for Democracy and that the country's international airport will open within 24 hours.

It follows a court ruling that Thailand's Prime Minister, Somchai Wongsawat must resign and quit politics for five years.

The Constitutional Court also declared that three parties in the governing coalition must disband, over allegations of vote-buying in the last general election.

Quentin Sommerville reports from Suvarnabhumi airport.
