Queensland battered by new storms

More storms have hit Queensland in eastern Australia with about 100 homes damaged by a shower of giant hailstones.

At least one man in the region died after being swept away by flood water earlier in the week as the state capital Brisbane endured its worst storm in a quarter of a century.

Weather forecasts predict further severe weather for Queensland.
