Defending Kabul from terror

Seven years on from the attacks on New York and Washington, the US-led war on terror appears to be far from over.

In Afghanistan, their impact led to a punishing war against the Taleban, who have since enjoyed a resurgence in the country - in particular in the tribal areas of Pakistan which lie along the Afghan border.

Lyse Doucet visits a security position just outside the capital to discover the challenges faced by the country's forces.
