Flu pandemic is not 'apocalyptic'

The World Health Organization is expected to declare a swine flu pandemic, as the disease takes hold in more than 70 countries.

But spokesman Gregory Hartl was keen to stress the definition is "defined by geography, not by severity" and that most cases were mild.
