A man from South Gloucestershire who tested positive for swine flu has not visited Mexico, nor has he any know links to someone with the disease, authorities say.
Director of Public Health for South-West England Dr Gabriel Scally says the 42-year-old has not been taken to hospital and is "as well as can be expected".
