Flights to Parish will operate every day except Saturdays |
A new daily service from Jersey to Paris is being launched in April. Low-cost airline Flybe said the year-round route will operate six days a week to Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The island's politicians have welcomed the announcement saying it will be a significant boost to tourism and business links.
The airline has also announced it is to operate two new weekly summer routes from Jersey to Newquay in Cornwall and the Isle of Man from May to September.
Government support
Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, said the introduction of the new routes reflected the company's continued commitment to Jersey.
He said the strategic French route, which will operate every day except Saturday, would not have been possible without the support of the States of Jersey.
"This is an important new link for business people, particularly the crucial community of non-domiciled residents who need to limit their days spent in the UK for tax purposes," Mr Rutter added.
Saturday services to Newquay and the Isle of Man will operate from 24 May to 27 September.
