Teen fractures back on trampoline
A teenager has fractured his spine after being in an accident on a trampoline in Jersey.

The 14-year-old boy was playing on the trampoline at the Waterfront on Sunday.

He was taken to Jersey's General Hospital after the accident and later transferred to a hospital in Southampton for further treatment.

Child accident prevention co-ordinator Louise Hamilton said parents should supervise children when they are playing on trampolines.

In 2004, Jersey's Accident and Emergency Department says it saw 91 children who had been injured on trampolines.
