Milk rounds on Jersey could end
Jersey Dairy is considering whether doorstep milk deliveries should continue in the island.

Six hundred customers in St Clement did not get their milk on Monday because of staff illness.

In February, rounds in St Ouen were cancelled and some islanders had to go to their parish hall to collect their morning milk.

Dairy managing director Kevin Keen said a decision on continuing milk rounds could be made in the next few months.

He said: "This business is going through changes and we have to keep looking all the time at how we can improve it for the sake of farmers and consumers as a whole.

"We are committed to anything that customers want and that they are prepared to pay for as well."
