Island fog causes flight delays
Jersey Airport
Passengers are being asked to still check in on time
More than 600 passengers are facing delays at Jersey Airport on Friday because of fog.

Two flights have been cancelled and passengers on at least ten other flights are facing long delays.

The arrival from Exeter and Guernsey due at 0845 GMT on Friday morning and its later departure back to Exeter have been cancelled.

Flights to Gatwick, Guernsey, St Brieuc, Southampton, Alderney and Birmingham are also delayed.

Jersey's Met Office say it is hoped the fog should clear and flying should return to normal by about midday.

But anyone who is due to travel is still being asked to check in on time.
