States politicians agree budget
Jersey politicians have agreed that 404m can be spent by the States over the next five years, although the figure will rise by 2.5% each year.

The increases will be less than the projected inflation and committees have been warned that there will be no emergency funding for overspending.

The legislation programme for the next year has also been agreed.

In response to a request from Deputy Alan Breckon, members will examine the establishment of a financial ombudsman.
