Car break-ins centre on car park
Motorists are being warned about a number of attempts to steal or break into cars in a St Helier car park.

Police believe damage to a number of cars in and around the Midvale Road area could be linked.

On Thursday night, someone broke into and tried to drive away a white Aston Martin parked in Midvale Road car park.

On the same night in the same car park, a blue soft-top Vauxhall Astra had its roof slashed and the property left inside was stolen.

At First Tower, the back window of a car was removed intact while it was parked in the lower parking bay at the Pomme D'or Farm estate. Nothing was taken.

Car owners are being reminded by police to lock their cars when they leave them.
