Senator Walker faces conduct vote
Jersey politicians are debating whether a member acted improperly over a planning application.

Senator Ted Vibert has asked the House for a censure motion, or official reprimand, against Policy and Resources President, Senator Frank Walker.

Senator Vibert alleges Senator Walker put pressure on planners to grant a friend permission for infilling on his land in Trinity.

Senator Walker denies doing anything wrong.

He says he did contact planning officers about the application, but only after it had been passed in principle.

Infilling is when products, sometimes including builders rubble and soil, are used to raise the level of land on a particular site.
