CD to benefit bereaved children
A new computer programme has been launched to help children in Jersey who are dealing with bereavement.

The multi-media compact disc is being given out to every school in Jersey and is part of the Rotary Club's Coping with Life series.

It offers students a private way to get advice on how to cope if someone they know has died and also answers some of their most common questions.

It includes sections on emotions and talking about how they are feeling.

The programme aims to take away some of the mystery surrounding death, and it can also be used in classrooms to help people discuss any issues.

It includes information for families and teachers on how to help a child who is dealing with bereavement.
