| Thieves have stolen money from the donation bucket at Jersey's sand sculpture. Police say thieves broke into the sealed waterfront site at about 2100 BST on Thursday evening. Footprints have been left in the sand and police are planning to study CCTV footage to see if they can identify the thieves. Sculptor Simon Smith said he will now be taking his own steps to guard against future incidents.
