Two people hurt after flat fire
Two people have been taken to hospital in Jersey after a flat caught fire in St Helier on Sunday.

The incident happened at Seaton Place. The fire service was called out at about 0530 BST after neighbours saw flames coming from the flat.

Two fire engines were called out and 10 firefighters tackled it.

A man in his 20s was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious burns. Another man was treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance staff.

Jersey's Fire and Rescue Service is warning people about the importance of having working smoke alarms in their homes.
