Jersey and Guernsey tourism officials are teaming up for the first time at the London Boat Show to bring in more yachtsmen and women to the Channel Islands. Jersey and Guernsey first had a joint stand at the Southampton Boat Show last year.
They say by sharing the budgets of the departments they are able to have a bigger presence.
The 50th annual London Boat Show at Docklands in east London is being called the biggest ever and is expected to draw nearly 200,000 visitors over the next 10 days.
The new guide to cruising in the Channel Islands will be handed out to visitors and Jersey harbours chief executive will be telling people more about the islands marine facilities and attractions.
The show features all types of boats from luxury yachts to entry-level dinghies.
And a water sports arena will host the first ever UK Indoor Windsurfing Championships at the event, which runs until 18 January.
