Three charged after heroin find
Three people have been charged with drug offences after police seized heroin with an estimated street value of �30,000 in Jersey.

A police sniffer dog found a quantity of the drug in a hedge in the Les Varines area of St Saviour.

Jersey's Drugs Squad arrested two men and a woman on Saturday.

All three are appeared before island magistrates on Monday and remanded in custody.

One 37-year-old man from London was charged with importing, possessing and supplying heroin.

A 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman from Jersey were both been charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply.

All three will reappear in court in one month's time.
