The appeal of five people involved in Jersey's biggest drugs money laundering case will be heard in the Royal Court on Monday. Michael and Yvonne O'Brien, David and Carol Ann Lloyd and Michael Joseph Dunne were convicted earlier this year for their part in laundering more than �1.5m.
Michael O'Brien, 56, was convicted of two counts of transferring the proceeds of criminal conduct.
He was sentenced to two four-year jail terms to run concurrently.
He is appealing against his sentence.
Europe assets
His estranged wife, 54-year-old Yvonne O'Brien, is appealing against her conviction for banking the money in various accounts and against her seven-year prison sentence.
Michael Joseph Dunne, 56, was jailed for nine years for his part in distributing the money into bank accounts and assets across Europe.
He is appealing against his conviction and sentence.
Carol Ann and David Jarman Lloyd were both convicted of one count of assisting in drug trafficking and one count of using the money to buy property.
The case is expected to last up to two days.
