Photographic display at terminal
Crow's Nest Restaurant
The photos date back to the 1970s
A new black and white photographic exhibition has gone on show in the Isle of Man's Sea Terminal.

The pictures, featuring the Sea Terminal and Douglas Harbour in the mid-1970s, is being displayed in the Departure Lounge until mid-September.

The display also contains images of diners in the former Crow's Nest Restaurant as well as passengers.

The exhibition was put together after a box containing various old photographs was discovered at the Sea Terminal.

The display was coordinated by Erica Gordon from the Manx Department of Transport.

"We discovered a box of old photographs at the Sea Terminal and they show it in an era that younger generations will probably have never seen, and one that older generations have probably forgotten," she said.

"It's fascinating to see what things looked like 30 years ago and contrast them with how they are today."
