BA announces flight route changes
BA plane at Isle of Man airport
The Isle of Man-Gatwick services will be increased
British Airways' flights from the Isle of Man to Luton are being scrapped in favour of a more frequent service to Gatwick airport.

The firm's regional flights section, BA Connect, is also increasing the frequency of flights on its Manchester to Milan route.

Timings will also be changed on flights from Manchester to Geneva, Glasgow and Vienna, the firm announced on Tuesday.

A new route between London City airport and Madrid will start in October.

Services between Belfast-Birmingham are also suspended, BA Connect said.

BA Connect's managing director David Evans said: "It's important that we continue to give our customers what they want in terms of frequency and network while focusing on our business strengths.

"We have responded positively to customer requests for schedule improvements, particularly at London City, Manchester and the Isle of Man."
