Warning over e-mail lottery scam
Warnings have been issued on the Isle of Man about a lottery scam being operated by someone giving a false address on the island.

The government's Financial Supervision Committee has investigated e-mails sent out by the Island Paradise Lottery.

It gives an address in Ramsey, but the committee says it is not registered on the island.

The e-mails tell people they have won prizes - but asks them to send fees and their bank details.

Residents are being warned not to respond to the e-mails.

The committee says it cannot find any connections with the business on the island.
