Cancer patients offered support

A group that will offer support and advice for people living with cancer is being set up in Guernsey.

There are about 300 new patients diagnosed with the illness each year in the island.

The decision to start a support group followed an open meeting at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

The group will hold a meeting every month and the next one is in the Emma Ferbrache Room at the hospital on 20 April at 1900 BST.
