Several internet service providers use the Cable and Wireless network
Broadband internet use in Guernsey could get cheaper under plans unveiled by the island's utilities watchdog.

The Office of Utility Regulation (OUR) wants Cable and Wireless to lower the prices it charges other internet service providers to use its network.

The OUR wants 22% off wholesale prices. It will make a decision in April.

The company said the proposals would stifle investment and meant local internet providers would pay less than for the same service in the UK.
