Yacht stranded in island harbour
Scuppered yacht
A local boat owner says the swell makes manoeuvring difficult
A visiting yacht has toppled over in Guernsey's Albert Marina, after its skipper moored it against the harbour wall.

The Margaret Caterpole III fell sideways as the tide fell, and has been left hanging from its ropes.

This type of incident usually happens four or five times every year.

Local boat owner Dave Le Pelley, who saw the vessel topple, says the swell from ships and fast ferries makes manoeuvring near the walls difficult.
