Royal Hotel firm to modify plan
The developers of the Royal Hotel site in Guernsey are hoping to modify their plans for the location.

Long Port Properties has applied to the Environment Department to make several additions to the project.

A swimming pool with a retractable glass roof is among a number of extras the group wants to include in its development of flats and penthouses.

Permission in principle has already been given for the development by the Environment Department.

The company also wants permission to build a gym, restaurant and health suite on the site.

When the work is completed, the complex will contain 45 local and open market flats.
