Thousands of Greeks have marched on parliament in the first major rally since the latest austerity measures were agreed to try to rescue the country from bankruptcy.
Earlier, tourism industry leaders appealed to demonstrators not to damage Greece's image during Thursday's general strike, as the continuing protests are deterring holidaymakers.
