BBC Correspondent Malcolm Brabant was overcome by tear gas while reporting on the clashes between demonstrators and police in Athens.
Petrol bombs had been thrown at police who responded with pepper spray, tear gas and stun grenades.
Our correspondent, with help from a tear gas mask, was able to resume his report, and described the chaotic scenes on the streets of Athens to BBC World.
