Iceland volcano 'has become more explosive'

The airspace across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland was closed on Wednesday because of volcanic ash from Iceland.

The Civil Aviation Authority has warned that the disruption could spread to northern England.

Dr Matthew Roberts of the Icelandic Meteorological Office, based around two miles from the volcano, told BBC News what he can see.
