Attacks on Catholic Church 'like anti-Semitism'

Pope Benedict's personal preacher has told a service at the Vatican that the attacks on the Catholic Church over child sexual abuse scandals are comparable to anti-Semitism.

The Rev Raniero Cantalamessa was speaking at Good Friday prayers in St Peter's Basilica, where he quoted a letter from a Jewish friend.
