Hillary Clinton has announced that the United States will contribute towards a fund worth $100bn a year by 2020, to help poorer countries cope with climate change.
Mrs Clinton said the US was committed to reaching a successful agreement in Copenhagen but added "real challenges remain" for the negotiations.
