Franz Strasser is digital producer-reporter for BBC World News America in Washington.
Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, he is travelling through his former home of Eastern Germany, creating a video blog which records his personal impressions.
The next stop on his journey is the town of Sebnitz, close to the Czech border, which found itself in a media scandal when false reports put a focus on the town's right-wing extremists.
Strasser pays a visit as Sebnitz celebrates 20 years of peaceful revolution - and looks at the stereotypes which still exist between East and West.
