Ban criticises G8 climate efforts

The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has criticised the policies on climate change put forward at the G8 summit in Italy.

On Wednesday, leaders of the G8 countries agreed to cut emissions by 80% by 2050, but Mr Ban said that action needed to be taken sooner.
