The Italian city of L'Aquila is getting ready to host the G8 conference of leading industrial nations.
The city was the scene of an earthquake in April when around 300 people died.
About 20,000 people are still living in tents, with a further 30,000 in hotel rooms.
Many people say they are fed up with living there and want proper accommodation.
Some of the G8 leaders are expected to visit the tents and inspect some of the earthquake damage.
Duncan Kennedy went back to the main camp in the centre of L'Aquila to see what life is like there.
