Survivor on Catholic child abuse

The findings of a nine-year inquiry into abuse suffered by children in Catholic institutions in Ireland is to be published.

Patrick Walsh is a member of the support group Survivors of Child Abuse which has been campaigning for the information to come out.

Mr Walsh, who spent 14 years in care homes in Ireland from the age of two, said the worst part of the abuse he suffered was the loss of liberty and family life.
