Police break up Moscow gay march

Riot police have broken up a march by gay rights activists in Moscow, ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest which is being held in the city.

Several dozen campaigners had gathered near a university and chanted slogans including 'Homophobia is a disgrace of this country' and 'We are demanding equal rights', before they were dragged away by riot police.
