Rescuers searching for any survivors of the Italian earthquake have had their work disrupted again by a series of aftershocks.
At least 275 people are now known to have died in Monday's quake, which was the worst to strike Italy in three decades.
Special police squads have now been deployed to the area around L'Aquila to prevent looting.
